Dexacam is an AI-powered fitness visualization and body tracking application. Because our product may involve photos, body measurements, fitness goals, and progress data, we take privacy seriously and aim to be clear about how your information is handled.

Account Information

Photos You Choose to Provide

Fitness, Body, and Goal Information

You may provide information such as height, weight, age range, sex, fitness goals, body composition estimates, progress photos, transformation targets, and other information related to your fitness journey.

App Usage and Device Information

Payment and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature through Apple’s App Store, your payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive subscription status, transaction identifiers, purchase history, renewal status, and related information needed to provide access to paid features.

Communications

If you contact us for support, feedback, or other inquiries, we may collect the content of your message and related contact information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, operate, and improve Dexacam; generate AI-powered body composition estimates, fitness insights, and visualizations; create personalized fitness transformation experiences; track your progress over time; maintain your account and subscription access; provide customer support; send service updates, reminders, and important notices; analyze app performance, usage, and reliability; detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Photos, AI Processing, and Body Data

Dexacam uses AI technology to process photos and information you choose to provide. This may include generating body composition estimates, progress insights, and visual transformation previews.

Your photos and body-related data are personal to you. We do not sell your photos. We do not share your photos with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

We may use trusted service providers to process photos or data on our behalf, including cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, subscription management, and app infrastructure providers. These providers are only permitted to process information as needed to provide services to Dexacam and are not authorized to use your personal information for their own marketing purposes.

Unless we clearly ask for your permission, Dexacam does not use your uploaded body photos to train public AI models.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate Dexacam, including hosting providers, AI infrastructure providers, analytics tools, customer support tools, payment and subscription infrastructure, security tools, and email or notification providers.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Dexacam, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

We may share information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your body photos, fitness data, or progress data.

We also do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we provide any legally required notice and choice.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Dexacam, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and improve our services.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Some limited information may be retained where required by law, for legitimate business records, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, or compliance purposes.

7. Account Deletion

If you create a Dexacam account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data through the app or by contacting us at hello@dexacam.com.

When your account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account unless retention is required or permitted by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, request a copy or export of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and opt out of marketing communications.
